We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Care Manager with a strong background in domiciliary care who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop towards becoming a Registered Manager.

The Role
As Care Manager, you will work closely with the senior management team to ensure the effective and safe delivery of our domiciliary care services.
You will be responsible for supporting the management of care services, staff, clients and operational processes while ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, company policies and relevant legislation.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, proactive and confident, with the ability to identify problems, find practical solutions and take ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the day-to-day delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services.
- Ensure care plans, risk assessments and reviews are maintained to a high standard.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of care provided to clients.
- Support the recruitment, induction, supervision and development of care staff.
- Care observations and staff supervisions.
- Respond effectively to incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and operational issues.
- Ensure the service remains compliant with CQC requirements and company policies.
- Monitor staff performance and address issues promptly and professionally.
- Support effective rostering and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, staff and external professionals.
- Identify opportunities to improve our services, systems and processes.
- Contribute to the continued growth and positive reputation of M&C Home Support.
- Work closely with senior management with the long-term goal of progressing into the Registered Manager role.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has strong experience in domiciliary care and understands the challenges of managing community-based care services.
- Holds an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent.
- Has experience in a supervisory, senior care, care management or deputy management position.
- Has a good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, care standards and compliance.
- Is ambitious and genuinely wants to progress towards becoming a Registered Manager.
- Is a confident and effective problem solver.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently.
- Has excellent communication and people-management skills.
- Can make decisions and take responsibility when challenges arise.
- Has a positive, "can-do" attitude and is willing to go the extra mile.
- Is commercially aware and understands the importance of service quality, client satisfaction and company reputation.
- Has a genuine passion for improving people's lives through high-quality care.
