Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated FOH (Front of House) Team Members to join our lively team. In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring every visitor has an exceptional experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve drinks and food promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities - such as wine pairings and food specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant/bar experience/hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing payments and giving accurate change
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not essential
- A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing guest satisfaction
