We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support throughout the night for a young lady with Downs Syndrome. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the young ladies quality of life, ensuring she receives the care and attention she deserves in a safe and comfortable environment. Your responsibilities will include personal care, companionship, and assistance with various tasks, all tailored to meet her individual care plan.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as per care plan.
- Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
Skills
- Experience in home care settings is advantageous.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients family.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with clients’ needs.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
