Administrative Assistant (Campus and Commercial Services)
Location: Chester
Salary: £25,249 – £25,804 per annum
Hours: 36.5 hours per week

Join the University of Chester and play a key role in supporting our Campus and Commercial Services Directorate.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Campus and Commercial Services core administration hub, part of a multi-disciplinary directorate providing a comprehensive support service to both commercial businesses and the University.
The role will contribute to all commercial aspects of the Directorate, including Commercial Services, Accommodation, Front of House, Domestic Services, Caretaking and Security. These services operate across the University of Chester’s estate, which includes a range of specialist sites throughout the historic city of Chester, as well as University Centres across the wider region.
You will be educated to A level standard (or equivalent qualification) and have experience of working in an administrative role, ideally within a commercial environment. You will have experience of supporting meetings, including taking accurate minutes and recording actions to a high standard.
The role requires:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and OneDrive/SharePoint
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to solve problems in line with established processes
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines
