Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator including managing our industrial printer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including printing equipment, to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your mechanical aptitude, hands-on skills, and understanding of fabrication processes will be essential to ensure smooth operations and maintain product standards. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor printing machines and other fabrication equipment to meet production schedules
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize hand tools and welding techniques for minor repairs, adjustments, or assembly tasks as needed
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving raw materials or finished products within the warehouse or production area
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate machine functions and improve process efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks
- Assist with tooling setup and adjustments to optimize manufacturing processes
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
- Support assembly tasks requiring mechanical knowledge, welding, or fabrication skills when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery, including printers or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and welding techniques
- Familiarity with fabrication processes such as milling, assembly, and materials handling
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially related to materials handling and inventory management
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
