Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks: 25 hours per week, 52 week per year
Contract Type: Permanent

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition & Onboarding department at The Bedford College Group.
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
- Providing efficient end-to-end recruitment support, delivering a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and KPIs.

Manage recruitment administration, including job advertising, candidate communications, vacancy tracking, offers, contracts and maintaining accurate records within HR systems.

Coordinate pre-employment screening and onboarding processes, including right to work checks, DBS checks, references, qualification verification and safeguarding compliance.

Support visa sponsorship applications, internal recruitment processes and the maintenance of the Single Central Record (SCR), ensuring organisational compliance and risk management.

Work collaboratively with the wider People Team to enhance recruitment processes, employer branding and the overall candidate and employee experience.
About you:
We're seeking an organised and customer-focused recruitment professional with experience supporting end-to-end recruitment, pre-employment checks, and onboarding processes.
You'll have:
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using HR, recruitment, or onboarding systems.

Good knowledge of safeguarding, DBS, Right to Work, and data protection requirements.

Excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.

Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.

The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.

A proactive, professional approach with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
