Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Section Waiter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for guests at your section, delivering exceptional service with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role is vital in creating a warm, efficient, and memorable dining environment by ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems while providing menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section, including tables, condiments, and service stations
- Follow food safety standards during food handling, serving, and clearing procedures
Experience
- Previous Rosette or Michelin experience is highly preferential but any hospitality or restaurant service will be considered; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued
- Familiarity with serving techniques and guest service principles is essential
- An interest in and reasonable knowledge of food and wine is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- An ability to work well as part of a team and communicate clearly

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
