We are recruiting for an experienced Gas Technical Auditor to join a growing technical and compliance team based in Leeds.
This role would suit an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer, Gas Supervisor, Gas Auditor or Gas Compliance Engineer looking to use their technical knowledge in an office-based position.
You will be responsible for auditing domestic gas installations, supporting engineers with technical queries and ensuring work is completed in line with current regulations and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out desktop audits of completed domestic boiler installations
- Review installations against Gas Safe regulations and manufacturer standards
- Provide remote technical support to Gas Engineers via phone and live chat
- Support engineers with installation, service, repair and fault-finding queries
- Identify compliance issues and arrange engineer re-attendance where required
- Support Compliance and Aftercare teams with technical queries
- Review internal and external audit findings
- Update technical notes, recommendations and job records
- Support training and development of engineers and internal teams
- Speak with customers where technical advice or reassurance is required
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ domestic gas experience
- Strong experience across boiler installation, service, repair and fault finding
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- Strong knowledge of current domestic gas regulations
- Good understanding of manufacturer standards
- Confident supporting and advising engineers
- Good communication and IT skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience in gas auditing, compliance, supervision, technical support or training would be highly beneficial.
Additional qualifications including Unvented Hot Water, LPG or other domestic gas appliance tickets would also be advantageous.
