Powered Generator Engineer -Bristol Depot

Due to continuous growth, we are currently looking to recruit a skilled Power Generator Engineer, based in the Bristol region.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, servicing, repairs and inspections on a range of generator equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
- Service and repair associated equipment both on customer sites and within the workshop environment.
- Provide high-quality technical support and deliver excellent customer service.
- Complete accurate service reports, timesheets and maintenance documentation.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service targets and maintain high operational standards.
· Comply with the company health and safety policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept to a high standard.
Requirements for the role:
· Ideally you will have at last 2 years’ experience of Mechanical or electrical engineering.
· A good technical knowledge of Power Generators or Electrical/Mechanical Machinery
- Experience in automatic synchronization via Power Management Systems (PMS) or manual synchronization using synchroscopes.
· Relevant experience or qualifications within the Power Generator Industry
· Be competent in electrical engineering systems.
· Have experience in fault finding / diagnostics.
· Must be able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure in an ever-changing demanding hire environment.
· Good communication skills and an understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service.
