Registered General Nurse

Wellbeing Medical Group is a leading consultant-led private cancer care clinic located in the heart of London Bridge.
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate nurse to join our team, with excellent clinical skills and, in particular, a high level of confidence and expertise in venepuncture and cannulation.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding, patient-centred nursing care within a private oncology setting.
Perform venous access procedures, including peripheral intravenous cannulation, to a consistently high standard.
Administer prescribed intravenous therapies in accordance with clinic policies and professional standards.
Monitor patients throughout treatment, recognising and responding promptly to any changes in their clinical condition.
Provide education, reassurance, and emotional support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
Work collaboratively with the Consultant and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Uphold the highest standards of clinical governance, infection prevention, and patient safety.
Contribute to the continuous development of the clinic and its services.
About You
You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care. You have excellent clinical judgement, strong communication skills, and thrive within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will be:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with an active PIN.
Passionate about providing outstanding private patient care.
Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and professionalism.
Essential Criteria
Current NMC Registration (Adult Nurse).
Minimum of 3 years' experience performing peripheral intravenous cannulation.
Demonstrable experience in venous access and intravenous therapy.
Previous experience in an acute clinical environment where cannulation is a core competency.
Full UK driving licence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in oncology, chemotherapy, or infusion services.
Experience within a private healthcare setting.
Immediate Life Support (ILS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience with vascular access devices (e.g. PICC lines and Port-a-Caths).
