Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stock levels and equipment sanitation
- Verify guest identification to ensure responsible serving in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, including handling payments and issuing receipts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, intervening when necessary with professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to stay energetic, positive, and motivated in a fast-paced setting
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
