Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Manage your own schedule and coordinate with clients to plan project timelines effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding project progress, expectations, and any adjustments needed
- Use appropriate tools and techniques for construction painting projects across diverse settings
- Ensure all work meets industry standards for quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Valid driving license to facilitate transportation between job sites
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Self-motivated with good time management skills to handle multiple projects independently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and decorating work
