Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Bubble Tea Barista to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of bubble tea beverages in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beverages, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently whilst creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare a wide range of bubble tea drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and display counters
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cleaning tasks and stock checks
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and answering queries about menu items
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food preparation skills, including measuring ingredients accurately
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and ingredient measurements
- Strong time management abilities to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to create a welcoming environment for customers
