Key Responsibilities
- 1:1 & Group Support: deliver targeted interventions to ensure students with Special Educational Needs engage fully with school life.
- Adaptive Learning: Collaborate with teachers to modify resources and tailor activities to individual learning styles.
- Emotional Support: Use positive behaviour strategies and adaptive communication to manage anxiety and boost student confidence.
- Holistic Care: Support students with personal care and social routines, promoting well-being and dignity.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside therapists and staff to maintain a consistent, supportive approach for every child.
The Ideal Candidate
- Resilient & Adaptable: You can think on your feet and respond quickly to changing needs.
- Experienced: Previous experience in a similar role is essential; specific experience supporting students with Autism is highly desirable.
