We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Stoke and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue team based in Loggerheads Fire Station, Market Drayton.

Hours: 10 hours per week

Kier Places are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated cleaner to join our Facilities Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at Loggerheads Fire Station, where you'll play an important part in maintaining high cleanliness standards within the building. You'll work closely with the cleaning supervisor to ensure continuity and quality of service, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all users of the facility.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards. Your day to day will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas including hard floors, carpeted areas, surfaces, doors, mirrors, and furniture
- Ensuring washrooms, sinks, and surrounding areas are kept clean and hygienic at all times
- Emptying waste receptacles, disposing of waste correctly, and replenishing consumables such as hand wash and toilet rolls
- Following COSHH guidelines and using colour-coded cleaning equipment to prevent cross contamination
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and reporting any issues to your supervisor
What are we looking for?

- You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a commercial building, school, or office environment
- You understand health and safety at work legislation, particularly COSHH regulations and safe working practices
- You can prioritise high-risk cleaning areas and coordinate tasks effectively
- You're self-motivated, reliable, and take pride in maintaining high standards
- You enjoy working collaboratively with others to deliver excellent service
