The ideal candidate will be ICAEW/ACCA qualified with at least two years post qualification experience, however we would consider a part qualified person with good experience. Our auditors need to be familiar with all aspects of accounts production, corporate tax and VAT as the role will have a split between non audit and audit work.
Experience of managing and reviewing more junior staff is desirable but not essential.
The role is client facing, so excellent client skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Audits: Plan and execute statutory audits from start to finish for various clients.
- Prepare Accounts: Draft company accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP.
- Manage Staff: Supervise, train, and review the work of junior team members and trainees.
- Client Contact: Build strong relationships and deal with queries directly on-site or in the office.
- Tax and Compliance: Complete corporate tax computations and compliance checks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Qualifications: Qualified ACA, ACCA. Part-qualified or qualified by experience may also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years working in a UK accountancy practice.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of auditing standards (ISAs) and financial reporting.
- Software: Experience with IRIS and My Work papers would be an advantage but not essential.
