Job Summary
We are seeking a factory worker to join our team in Dronfield.
Knowledge of CNC, Beam saw, edge bander and power tools is preferred but not necessary. Training will be given on the job. A clean driving license is required as you will be needed to drive a van
- Operate hand tools and power tools to shape and finish wood products
- Use the edge bander, beam saw and CNC
- Put cabinets together.
- Deliver units and doors to fitter in the morning in our van
- Stock checks.
- Quality check units and doors before they leave the factory.
- The odd remedial at customers houses. This could be drilling a handle on a door or replacing a hinged door etc. Training will be given.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to tooling and machinery
Qualifications
- Experience in woodworking or a related field
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to woodworking
- Experience in DIY projects.
- The ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Clean licence and able to drive a manual Van
