Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bank Laundry and Domestic Assistant to join our caring team at Westcroft Nursing Home in the GB area. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our residents, supporting our commitment to exceptional elderly care.
Responsibilities
- Perform laundry duties efficiently, ensuring all residents' clothing and linens are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
- Assist with general domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying communal areas and resident rooms.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Support the care team with additional domestic duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
- Qualifications
- Previous hotel or domestic experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to cover various shifts as needed.
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards relevant to elderly care settings.
