What does the role involve?
We are seeking skilled individuals who have a great eye for detail and are passionate about delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. With a restaurant capacity of up to 350 covers at a time, our kitchen is always alive with activity, so team members will need to thrive in a buzzing, fast-paced environment.
As Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and consistently deliver high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Participate in food preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Ensuring efficiency and timely service during peak hours.
- Contributing to maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
- Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned by the Head Chef.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Culinary certificate or diploma; Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification desired.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen with a strong culinary background.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality and a willingness to innovate.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of quality, hygiene and safety.
Contract: The roles are permanent, full-time (approx. 40hrs per week).
Salary: From £12.81 per hour to £14.43 per hour (depending on the role and your experience)
Hours: Working hours and shift pattern to be confirmed via a rota-basis. Will include weekend working.
