Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant coffee shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining a positive work environment for our team. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing food preparation, supervising staff, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to promote team development and efficiency.
- Supervise food preparation processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for customer satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure product availability.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, enhancing the overall guest experience together with our marketing team.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management within a hospitality setting.
- Background in food preparation, preferably within a café, restaurant, or hotel environment.
- Excellent supervisory abilities, capable of motivating staff while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members alike.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing techniques would be advantageous but is not essential.
