Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering packages efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the items being transported.
Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and optimise delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered during transport.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and heavy lifting when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- A valid driving licence with the appropriate classification for the vehicle being operated.
- Experience in commercial driving is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
