Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Admin/Accounts Assistant to support our finance and administrative teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial transactions, data entry, and maintaining accurate records using various accounting & Admin software platforms. Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and perform bank & Credit card reconciliations.
- Process weekly payment runs and ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and set up new supplier accounts.
- Support month-end financial processes and reporting.
- Manage credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding customer balances and following up on overdue payments.
- Assist with Sage HR & Payroll administration.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and office teams.
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting & Payroll software Sage is highly desirable
- Familiarity with financial services processes including accounts payable and data entry
- Prior experience in an administrative or finance support role is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes for administrative tasks

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
