We are looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Carers to join our team in Slough, supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and enjoy a good quality of life.
About the Role
As a Carer, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences and daily routines. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities in a respectful and person-centred manner.
- Encouraging independence and promoting choice and dignity.
- Supporting clients with community activities, appointments and social engagement.
- Assisting with meal preparation and household tasks where required.
- Supporting medication as required, following appropriate training and procedures.
- Communicating effectively with clients, families and the wider care team.
- Recognising and reporting any changes in a client’s wellbeing or behaviour.
- Maintaining accurate care records and following care plans and company policies.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, patient and understanding.
- Reliable, responsible and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Comfortable supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, families and colleagues.
- Willing to work flexibly, including weekends where required.
- Previous care experience is desirable, particularly experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Up to 2 years of relevant care experience is welcome.
- Driving is preferred but not essential.
