Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to children in a daycare setting. The position is for at least 28 hours a week
Responsibilities
- Assist children with daily learning activities
- Support children in their independence and promoting their well-being
- Follow individual care plans to ensure personalised support is provided effectively
- Communicate clearly with children, their families, and the care team to ensure consistent and compassionate care
- Uphold health and safety standards, including infection control procedures and safeguarding policies
Requirements
- Must have at least a level 2 in child care
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ needs and promote learning
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
