We are seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Administration Assistant to provide financial and general administrative support on-site within the Club Office.
- Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week, worked over 2–4 days per week. Working pattern and specific hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.
- Hourly Rate dependant on experience
The role will involve a range of routine financial and administrative duties, including invoice processing, till and bank reconciliations, member charging, event invoicing; all with a focus on maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will have good attention to detail and be comfortable working independently as well as supporting colleagues across the Club.
Duties
- Support a positive, professional and welcoming environment for colleagues and Club members.
- Deal with routine telephone enquiries from members, visitors, suppliers and other callers, directing queries to the appropriate member of the team where necessary.
- Enter and process supplier invoices into Sage, ensuring information is recorded accurately.
- Carry out regular bank account reconciliations and identify any discrepancies.
- Process member charges, including match fees and other approved charges.
- Raise and process invoices following Club events and functions.
- Complete till reconciliations and data input into Sage
- Provide general administrative support to the General Manager, Finance Manager and wider team.
- Assist with correspondence, filing, record keeping and other routine office duties.
- Regularly check Club notice boards and member information areas, removing outdated information and ensuring current notices are displayed.
- Assist with the preparation of information and reports as required.
- Deal appropriately with confidential member, financial and Club information.Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance administration role.
- Good numerical skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledgeof Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
- Experience using Sage or similar accounting software required.
- Experience of till and bank reconciliations and invoicing would be beneficial.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage routine tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience within a golf club, sports club, hospitality or membership organisation would be beneficial but is not essential.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
