Overview
Holmesdale Homes is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Housekeeper / Property Operations Assistant to help look after our serviced accommodation properties in Northampton and Kettering.
This is more than a standard cleaning position.
You’ll be responsible for making sure our properties are completely clean, presented and guest-ready before each arrival.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details and can be trusted to work independently
Duties
- Cleaning and preparing serviced accommodation properties between guests
- Changing and presenting bed linen
- Preparing bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard
- Checking and replenishing guest supplies
- Completing our cleaning checklist
- Taking photographs after each clean
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Reporting damage or missing items
- Checking stock and linen levels
- Carrying out occasional deep cleans
- Helping maintain consistently high standards across our properties
Working hours
Our serviced accommodation properties operate 7 days a week, so flexibility is important.
Monday and Friday are often our busiest changeover days and availability on these days is particularly important.
There will also be some weekend work depending on guest check-outs.
The role will initially provide approximately 16+ hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as required and as the business grows.

- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hotel or serviced accommodation experience is helpful but not essential
Reliability and attitude are more important to us than having years of cleaning experience.
Mileage between properties during the working day will be paid in accordance with our mileage policy.
Full training will be provided on the Holmesdale Homes cleaning and guest-ready standards.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
