Deputy Manager – Birmingham
Salary up to £34,000 + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced retail leader to join a well-established and growing fashion retailer in Birmingham.
This role is ideal for an existing Assistant or Deputy Manager looking for a fresh challenge, or an ambitious Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the team, driving commercial performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales, commercial performance and store profitability.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service and create an engaging shopping experience.
- Ensure excellent operational standards across stock control, administration, security, health & safety and loss prevention.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales targets, KPIs and business objectives.
- Introduce new initiatives, promotions and customer services with enthusiasm.
- Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to support colleague development.
- Deputise for the Store Manager when required.
About You
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Supervisor within retail.
- Commercially focused with a passion for delivering results.
- A confident leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive, hands-on approach.
- Organised, reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Salary: Up to £34,000 plus bonus and benefits.
