Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data, developing reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The Reporting Analyst will play a key role in transforming complex data sets into clear, concise reports that drive business improvements.
Duties
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Analyse large datasets employing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and optimise database structures in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Manage projects related to data analysis initiatives, ensuring adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles.
- Conduct business analysis to understand organisational needs and recommend suitable reporting solutions.
- Utilise Visio for process mapping and documentation of workflows.
- Perform data visualisation and analysis using Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and other relevant tools.
- Support database design activities to improve data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Assist in the development of automation scripts to streamline reporting processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst or similar role with strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.
- Demonstrable skills in business analysis and database design.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with Visio for process mapping is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: Up to £57,499.40 per year
