About the role:
We are looking for an office administrator who can work as part of a team to support the operational and management teams working with adults with learning disabilities. The role is part time, 18.5 hours per week working at Milestone House, Seamer. Due to the nature of the role you must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information, have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities, and the Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment. There is a requirement for a full DBS check to be carried out for you to fulfil the role. You will be joining a fun, lively and supportive team who carry out extremely rewarding work to help our service users. You will also benefit from a supportive management system, on-going personal development and performance management process. Training will be available to the appointed person.
About you:
We require a motivated administrator with excellent communication and customer care skills. The successful applicant will be a well organised and flexible individual who has excellent ICT skills along with good literacy, numeracy and note taking ability. You must be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team. There is a financial aspect to the role as, in addition to purchasing items, checking and processing invoices, we manage a petty cash account and amenities funds so previous cash handling would be beneficial but not essential.
