The Growth Company’s (GC) Marketing Manchester team have a fantastic career opportunity for a Digital Assistant to join a creative Digital Team to support the development of digital channels, and the delivery of digital content, campaigns, and activity.

This role is Hybrid working at least one day per week in our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing activity across websites, social media channels and email marketing platforms.
- Create, edit and publish engaging written, visual and video content tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Assist with the day-to-day management of Marketing Manchester’s digital platforms, ensuring content remains accurate, accessible and up to date.
- Gather content and data by working closely with internal teams, stakeholders and partner organisations.
- Support the production of digital performance reports through the collection, analysis and interpretation of website, email and social media data.
- Ensure sustainable destination practices are considered throughout digital activity and campaign delivery.
About You:
- A creative communicator with a passion for Manchester and promoting the city-region through engaging digital content.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders while also managing tasks independently.
- Confident when communicating with people at all levels, both face to face and over the telephone.
- Proactive, organised and able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen to learn, show initiative and contribute positively to a supportive team environment.
Skills Required:
- Ability to write engaging, platform-appropriate content for a range of digital channels.
- Experience using content management systems, email marketing platforms, image editing and video editing software.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and an understanding of how digital performance data can be used to inform activity.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and digital content publishing principles.
- Experience of working with stakeholders, partnerships and organisations across the public and private sectors.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and deliver activity that meets agreed objectives.
