This is a self-employed position that is paid 4 weekly, plus VAT (if applicable).
Delivering and collecting parcels in and around the CW postcode, working out of our Stoke depot.
Route is pre optimised, all you have to do is scan and load.
Full training, uniform, van and other work essentials will be provided.
Uniform must be worn at all times and the provided vehicle must be kept clean and tidy inside and out.
Must be able to work as a team, have a good work ethic and good communication skills.
Job specification
- Daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately
- Scan allocated parcels onto van in numerical order for ease of delivering
- Ensure deliveries and collections are made within specified time slots
- Return to depot with any unsuccessful deliveries, collections and unload
- This is a fast paced working environment that requires a good level of fitness as this will require some heavy lifting.
A full UK driving license, maximum of 6 points.
A recent basic disclosure is required - this can be arranged should you be successful.
Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
Support is ongoing throughout your time with us, the management team are present every morning to help, support and advise throughout the day for any queries.
During Christmas and other seasonal holidays you will be expected to work a additional days, due to volumes.
Minimum day rate is £115 a day, for every successful delivery made over 115 stops per day is an additional £1 per stop. For example, if you successfully deliver 150 stops, you will earn £150 for that day.
