We are looking for a reliable driver to handle our early morning delivery round.
You will load the van at our Southampton bakery, then deliver fresh bread and pastries to business and individual customers across Gosport, Fareham and the surrounding areas, with a stop at our Gosport shop along the way.
Responsibilities
Load the van each morning at the Southampton bakery and check orders against the delivery list. Drive to Gosport, Fareham and surrounding areas, delivering to business customers, individual customers and our Gosport shop.
Handle bread crates and boxes carefully. Start the round promptly at 5:30am to meet delivery windows. Communicate with the bakery team about any delays or issues. Represent the bakery professionally with every customer.
Follow road safety and local traffic laws at all times.
Requirements Own van, B category licence.
A smaller van is fine, a large vehicle is not needed.
Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
Comfortable working independently as self employed.
Previous delivery driving experience is an advantage.
Benefits (Self Employed) Long term, regular part time work (2.5-3.5h/day), 5 mornings a week.
Fixed early morning schedule, free from mid morning onward.
