Duckworths Estate Agents | Full-Time | From £28,000 + Commission & Bonus
Duckworths Estate Agents is looking for an experienced, driven and enthusiastic Sales Negotiator to join one of our market-leading branches.
This is not a trainee position. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ estate agency experience who already understands the industry, enjoys the pace of agency life and wants to be part of a strong, successful team.

The Role
This is a sales-focused position. You will be working within an established branch, surrounded by an experienced team, with the opportunity to concentrate on what you do best – selling property and delivering an excellent service to clients.
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Managing buyers and building strong relationships
- Matching applicants to properties and generating viewings
- Conducting property viewings
- Negotiating offers and agreeing sales
- Proactively following up enquiries and opportunities
- Progressing sales and keeping clients updated
- Working closely with the wider branch team to achieve targets
- Identifying opportunities to generate additional business
- Providing a high standard of service from initial enquiry through to completion
Who We’re Looking For
You must have at least 3 years’ experience working within estate agency.
More importantly, we want someone who:

Career Progression
We want this role to develop around the right person.
For an experienced negotiator, there is the opportunity to progress into a Senior Sales Negotiator position and take on greater responsibility.
If you are interested in developing further, we can also provide opportunities to learn property valuations, strengthen your listing skills or develop the leadership and managerial experience needed to progress towards branch management.
Several members of our senior team and Directors started their careers as Sales Negotiators, so there is genuine scope to build a long-term career within the business.
Salary & Earnings
- Basic salary from £28,000 per annum
- OTE commission approximately £7,000 + per annum
- Additional bonus scheme of up to £500 per month
- Realistic opportunity to earn £40,000+ for a strong performer
Training & Development
Although we are specifically looking for an experienced estate agent, we don't believe development should stop once you know the basics.
You will work alongside an experienced team and receive ongoing support and development to sharpen your sales, negotiation and property skills, with further training available depending on where you want your career to go.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Two Saturdays per month on a rota: 9:30am – 3:00pm
For every Saturday worked, you will receive half a day back as annual leave.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ estate agency experience – essential
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Strong track record within residential property sales
- Confident, professional and commercially minded
