Simpson Oils Ltd supplies marine gas oil, heating oil and diesel to domestic, maritime and commercial customers in the North of Scotland.
We are recruiting FUEL TANKER DRIVER to work from Invergordon to join our team on a full time basis.
Duties will include:
· Loading of vehicle at the depot following all operational procedures and health and safety guidelines.
· Delivering oil and fuel to multi-site domestic, commercial and marine customers on a fuel tanker capable of carrying separate products using a wet-line system.
· Ensuring that all paperwork relating to the loading and unloading is correctly filled in.
· Ensuring that all vehicle daily walk around and safety checks are carried out to the required standard.
· Excellent customer service skills are also essential as the role will involve direct customer contact.
The basic hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with scope for overtime including Saturdays particularly in the busier winter months so we would require flexibility from a driver to suit our workload.
Applicants must have physical strength and fitness to carry out tasks involving manual handling and operating truck.
Applicant must hold a category C driving licence and ADR driver certificate for class 3.
