We are looking for a Seasonal Greenkeeper to strengthen our team during the summer at SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel and Golf Course. If you enjoy working in the outdoors and working as part of an enthusiastic team then we’d love to hear from you!
This is a fixed-term contract, full-time position, from July to September 2026. Availability to work early mornings and weekends is essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £13.13 per hour plus gratuities* and excellent employee benefits.
*Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- You will support the Greenkeeping team in being responsible for the overall appearance of the golf course and the SCHLOSS Roxburghe estate
- You’ll play a part in ensuring that the golf course is consistently set up every day to the highest standard
- Ensure the best possible playing surfaces to consistently offer an exceptional experience for out golf members and visitors
- Use different machinery correctly whilst following health and safety measures at all times
- Cutting lawns and playing surfaces, changing holes, moving markers, raking bunkers
- Use your eye for detail to ensure all areas of the estate are well presented
- You will proactively identify areas of our golf course that require attention and highlight these to the senior team
- Maintaining an awareness and understanding of the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance and greenkeeping practices
- Interacting with our guests and golf members in a warm, professional and helpful manner
