Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Saw Person to join our manufacturing team in. This role is vital in ensuring precise cutting and assembly of aluminium components for our fire-rated products, contributing to our company's reputation for safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate aluminium sawing machinery with precision to cut materials according to specifications.
- Set up and maintain saw equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure timely production.
- Inspect finished components for quality and adherence to standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in other manufacturing tasks as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating aluminium or metal saws in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and tooling.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
This role will involve a 6 month probationary period, this will become a full time permanent position for the right candidate.
