A leading international construction contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team delivering a major recladding project on an existing high-rise residential building. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the commercial delivery of a technically challenging building safety and façade remediation scheme, helping to improve the performance, safety and longevity of an occupied residential development.

What you'll be doing
- Managing the commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account
- Preparing and administering subcontract packages and managing subcontractor accounts
- Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and valuations
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining cost control
- Managing variations, change control and contractual correspondence
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
- Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company procedures
- Contributing to the successful commercial delivery of a complex residential refurbishment scheme
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Previous experience working for a main contractor
- Experience delivering refurbishment, façade, recladding or residential projects is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of standard forms of contract and commercial management principles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- A proactive approach with excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
