About Company
Outbound Care are a care providing organisation based in the North of England, providing nurturing full-time care for young people aged between eight and seventeen. The values of Outbound Care are simple; to provide unrivalled levels of care, support and education to our young people. The objective being to develop levels of maturity and assist in enabling individuals to function effectively within society as successful, independent adults. The residential home will be providing care for two young people.

Requirements
- Genuine care for others
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand what the role entails
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good understanding of social care
Qualifications/Experience: (Desirable that individuals have worked in residential childcare age range 8-17).
- Appropriate level of education – NVQ/Diploma level 3 or higher (Desirable), but appropriate life experience would be acceptable for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly professional with friendly and empathetic manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Eligibility to reside and work in the UK
- Experience of working within a Residential Children’s Home
- Customer facing experience
- Punctuality and organisational skills
- Good understanding of IT and the ability to learn new systems
Responsibilities
- To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide good quality of health, welfare and well-being of the residents.
- To contribute, develop and implement young person’s centred care plans.
- To work flexibly to meet the resident's support needs
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the resident's life.
- To work as part of a person-centred team
- To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with your colleagues.
