About the Role
We are seeking a professional and reliable SIA-licensed Door Supervisor to join our security team at a busy licensed premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and visitors while ensuring compliance with venue policies and licensing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the premises.
Verify customer identification and enforce age verification policies.
Conduct searches when required and in accordance with company procedures.
Manage customer behaviour professionally and de-escalate potential conflicts.
Prevent disorderly conduct, anti-social behaviour, and criminal activity.
Carry out regular patrols of the venue and surrounding areas.
Work closely with venue management, staff, and emergency services when necessary.
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Requirements
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
Previous experience working in licensed premises, pubs, bars, clubs, or event security preferred.
Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Strong observation and decision-making abilities.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills
First Aid qualification.
Experience using incident reporting systems.
Knowledge of local licensing laws and venue security procedures.
