Based in Bingley West Yorkshire we are a personal care company specialising in the formulation and contract manufacture of high quality, short run products. Our clients vary from niche cult beauty brands to both national and international personal care grooming labels. As a small but growing company we are looking for a confidant Production Supervisor with a broad range of relevant skills to help our business continue its growth.
Good with people, you will ideally have a practical hands on approach and be able to demonstrate the ability to work closely with your team, communicating both directly and effectively to ensure that all deadlines and targets are being met.
An innovative problem solver with the ability to organise multiple tasks and communicate with other areas of the business is essential. This highly visible position will also carry responsibility for cost saving and lean manufacturing initiatives to maintain and further enhance the company’s continuous improvement culture, ideal for someone looking to take the next step towards senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Full accountability ensuring safety, productivity, efficiency and waste level targets are achieved.
Supervise workers and give direction to the filling and shipping areas of the business.
Lead/assist with continuous improvement projects and other similar activities.
Monitor and prioritize workflow and production schedules in an efficient manner.
Manage quality standards taking appropriate action where necessary.
Ensure production floor is clean and safe for all staff members.
Develop and implement production line policies and procedures.
Ensure all operators are maintaining output levels in line with targets and recording all major events e.g. downtime.
Will collect and collate all summary KPI reports from operators at the end of the shift.
Maintain high standards adhering to Health and Safety procedures.
Conduct various elements in managing people to include RTW meetings, investigations, disciplinaries, training etc.
Essential Experience
Supervisory/management experience gained in similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Resilience and an ability to liaise with staff at all levels are essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
