Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our clinical team on an associate basis. The successful candidate will provide specialised psychological support to care experienced children and their caregiving teams., his role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities
- Deliver individual, group, or family therapy sessions using recognised therapeutic modalities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with data protection regulations and regulatory body standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for children.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting approaches as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in developing coping strategies and resilience skills.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times, ensuring a safe and trusting environment for those we support.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all young people.
- Stay informed about current developments in psychotherapy practices and integrate new techniques into practice.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Psychotherapist or in a similar mental health role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with diverse client groups.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and scheduling.
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, ethical guidelines, and best practices.
- Prior experience working within multidisciplinary teams is desirable but not essential. This position provides an enriching environment for professional growth. Requirements (essential)
- Recognised qualification in Psychotherapy (UKCP/ BACP accredited)
- Strong knowledge of attachment theory, developmental trauma, and therapeutic interventions for children in care.
- Full UK driving license and access to transportation.
- Enhanced DBS available via the update service.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- ICO registration.
