We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and organisational environments. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Ensure all areas are left tidy, hygienic, and presentable at the end of each shift
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and time management abilities
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
