Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Staff to join our team, providing essential support in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will assist in medication administration and ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. This role is vital in maintaining the health and well-being of our patients through effective pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Support pharmacists in managing inventory and restocking medications as required.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional skills.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Working as part of a team
- Merchandising and maintaining frontshop area
- Dealing with card and cash transactions
- Sale of OTC medicines
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician/assistant is preferred but not essential.
- On the job training can be provided
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
