Job Summary
BK Events is seeking 4 licensed Security Guards (SIA required) for a one-day outdoor cultural celebration in a public park. The role involves maintaining safety, managing crowds, and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits throughout the event
- Ensure only authorised guests access the event area where applicable
- Provide visible security presence across the park
- Assist with crowd control during peak activity and performances
- Patrol designated areas of the venue
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or disturbances
- Support guests with directions and general assistance
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the event lead immediately
- Protect event infrastructure and restricted areas
Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
- Previous experience in event security or crowd control preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, professional, and alert under pressure
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors for long hours
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions from event management team
