Spinal Care Clinics (SCC) is a leading health and wellness clinic in Brentwood. We are looking for a part-time Self-Employed Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team on a 12-month maternity cover, starting in October.
This is an exciting opportunity to take over an established role, working alongside the rest of our marketing team to coordinate and support our marketing activities while helping us continue to grow the clinic and deliver an outstanding client experience.
As part of the role, you will also coordinate our wider part-time marketing support team, including a Marketing Assistant, Google PPC Campaign Manager, and Software & Marketing Advisor. You will help keep marketing activity aligned, oversee progress and coordinate regular monthly marketing meetings to ensure projects and campaigns move forward effectively.
Although this is initially a temporary position, there is an opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right person who excels within the team.
The role is mostly remote, with occasional meetings and content creation days at our Brentwood clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn)
- Create and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, Stories and posts)
- Coordinate marketing activities alongside the wider SCC marketing team
- Coordinate the work of our part-time marketing support team and monthly marketing meetings
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns and promotions
- Help improve the client experience and customer engagement, both online and in the clinic
- Support email marketing for current and past clients
- Help develop loyalty, referral and client retention campaigns
- Build relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Assist with events, open days and community marketing initiatives
- Oversee Google PPC and basic marketing analytics, engagement and campaign performance
Skills & Experience
- Experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation
- Confident filming and editing videos using a smartphone
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with others
- Experience in marketing, retail, hospitality, fitness or wellness is desirable
- Experience with Canva, Instagram Reels and Facebook Business tools
- Understanding of customer experience or the client journey is an advantage
