Job/Person Summary
Dogmersfield Primary School is a small school with a Church of England ethos and a family atmosphere. Our values of love, respect and courage, and our Vision statement "Start children off on the way they should go...so they live life in all its fullness" are at the heart of all that we do.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, patient, caring and empathetic LSA to work 1:1 with a KS1 child with additional needs and also able to work with small groups of children. This role will be every afternoon including lunchtimes, with some flexibility around these hours.
The person will be an experienced LSA who:
- Has worked with children with a range of additional needs
- child challenge
- Be able to work independently under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
- Listens to, and acts upon, the advice provided by outside agencies
- Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development.
