Social Media Marketing Manager – Job Description
A & B Concrete Pumping Ltd is looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing activity and strengthen our presence across the UK construction industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media and digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on increasing brand awareness, generating high-quality enquiries, and supporting business growth. You will help position A & B Concrete Pumping Ltd as a trusted provider of concrete pumping services.
The role will involve creating engaging and professional content, managing social media channels, developing targeted digital advertising campaigns, supporting SEO activity, and analysing marketing performance to identify opportunities for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive marketer who can combine creativity, commercial awareness, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
● Manage and grow the company's presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant social media platforms.
● Visit active construction sites to capture high-quality photo and video content showcasing projects
● Produce and edit engaging short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, educational content and project showcases for use across social media and the company website.
● Create before-and-after project case studies highlighting completed works and successful client projects.
● Develop content aimed at generating enquiries from builders, contractors, developers and construction companies.
● Manage paid digital advertising campaigns through Meta Ads and other suitable online advertising platforms to maximise lead generation.
● Produce website content and blog articles to improve search engine optimization (SEO), increase organic traffic and strengthen the company's online visibility.
● Optimise and maintain the company's Google Business Profile to improve local search rankings and customer enquiries.
● Develop digital campaigns aimed at generating enquiries from construction contractors, developers, groundworks companies and civil engineering firms, supporting the company's sales and business development objectives.
● Monitor website traffic, advertising performance and social media analytics, preparing regular reports with recommendations for continuous improvement. ● Research competitor activity, market trends and emerging digital marketing techniques within the construction industry.
● Design digital marketing materials, graphics and promotional content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
● Work closely with the management team to identify projects, customer success stories and company updates suitable for marketing campaigns.
● Ensure all published content accurately reflects the company's services, brand image and professional standards.
Person Specification
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
● Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns for commercial businesses.
● Strong photography, videography and video editing skills, including short-form content creation.
● Experience using Meta Ads Manager and knowledge of SEO best practices.
● Ability to analyse marketing performance using digital analytics and reporting tools.
● Excellent written communication skills for producing website content, blog articles
● Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and marketing campaigns simultaneously.
Requirements
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
● Proven experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns for commercial businesses.
● Strong videography, photography and video editing skills, with experience creating engaging short-form content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
● Experience developing digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation.
● Good understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), social media algorithms and paid advertising campaigns, including Meta Ads Manager.
● Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for creating professional marketing materials.
● Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
● Construction industry marketing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Pay: £42,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
