This is a rare career opportunity to play a defining role in the evolution of the academic provision for a long-established international English Language School. We are seeking an exceptional and ambitious EFL leader and course designer to contribute to the transformation of the school’s educational portfolio and academic operation. Reporting to the Principal, you will play a pivotal role in delivering on the school’s strategic learning and teaching vision. The ideal candidate will be an astute academic leader with demonstratable knowledge of the contemporary English Language Teaching context, an outstanding and demonstratable curricula design ability, and have an evidenced background in successful academic operational management – preferably at scale.

Minimum Qualifications
- DELTA, DipTESOL or equivalent Level 7 TESOL qualification.
- Degree
- British Council recognised or UK accredited Language Teaching qualification
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Essential
- A minimum of four years' successful experience in an academic leadership or management role, with responsibility for leading English language teaching teams, curriculum development and quality assurance.
- A minimum of five years' successful classroom teaching experience within a language teaching context.
- Evidence of successfully managing academic provision in both adult and junior contexts
- Experience of designing high-quality language teacher development courses and CPD activity within a formal development framework.
- Experience of leading blended, online and in class curriculum design and educational product development in English Language Teaching.
- Extensive knowledge of academic operational systems, procedures and protocols.
- Extensive knowledge of the contemporary ELT context.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Eligibility to live and work in UK (we unfortunately cannot support a visa application to work and live in the UK).

- Experience of management in an international English summer school environment
- Experience managing muti-campus or multi-site academic operations
- Experience of trends in AI and language learning
- Experience of educational VLEs and LMSs
- Experience of British Council inspections and accreditation frameworks

- Experience of working with formal UK language examination bodies/boards

Pay: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
