We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our dynamic culinary team!
You will be responsible for supporting food preparation, cooking, and meal service in a fast-paced environment for the bar snack menu.

The part time Job role, will be 3 days working a week, then 4 days off, rolling, with every other other weekend off.
Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support the main cook or chef in meal assembly, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining environment
- Help with food storage, labeling, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Serve meals efficiently during designated service times of the bar snack menu, ensuring timely delivery to members and guests
- Support overall kitchen operations by adhering to health regulations and maintaining a positive team attitude
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Previous experience in serving meals or assisting with customer service is a plus
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and working collaboratively in a team
