Team Leader
Location: Burnham
Reports to: Assistant General Manager

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of our pub. You will play a key role in leading the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and act as the main point of contact in the absence of the Manager/Assistant Manager
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Supervise, motivate, and support team members during service
- Assist with staff training of new employees
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Support stock control and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the bar and service areas
- Assist with cash handling, till operations, and end-of-shift reconciliations
- Help drive sales through upselling and promotions
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within hospitality (pub, bar, or restaurant)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and licensing laws
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
